K-12 software · Wausa, Nebraska
Software for the work schools already do.
Test results joined to the classes students actually take. Missing work tracked before it becomes a failing grade. Conduct referrals and student plans kept in one place. Each tool is built from a school's own data and opened only to the staff the school approves.
Products
Six tools, one company.
Each product has its own name and does one job well. Schools can start with the one they need and add others later. Every product has a working demo filled with fictional students, so you can click through it before we talk. Nothing you enter in a demo is saved.

School Insights
For principals, counselors and teachers
Joins ACT and PreACT results to course rosters so staff can see performance by class, teacher, question and category. Students are matched on state student ID, and any record that doesn't match is set aside for the school to review, never guessed.

Student data
The data belongs to the school. We just look after it.
Schools share records with us so we can provide a service they would otherwise do themselves. These commitments apply to every hosted product and are written into each school agreement.
-
Used only for the school's purpose
We use student information only to provide the service the school asked for. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never build profiles except for the school's own educational purposes.
-
Only the data needed
We bring in only the fields a report needs. No Social Security numbers, no financial information, and no health records.
-
Approved staff only
Each user has an individual account approved by the school and protected by two-step sign-in. Access is enforced in the database, and each school's data is kept separate from every other school's.
-
Deleted when you say
The school decides how long data is kept. When a school asks, we delete its data and confirm the deletion in writing.
-
Hosted in the United States
Hosted products run on U.S.-based cloud infrastructure, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
Designed around FERPA's school-official requirements and the Nebraska Student Online Personal Protection Act. Each school signs a written data privacy agreement with us before any student data is shared.
Getting started
A short pilot before any commitment.
Talk it through
A short call about what your staff need and which product fits.
Sign the privacy agreement
No student data is shared until the data privacy agreement and your retention instructions are signed.
Load your data
You send exports from the systems you already use. We check every record and list anything that doesn't match for your review.
Pilot with named staff
Your administrators approve each account. You decide whether to continue, expand, or have the data deleted.
About
Built in Wausa, Nebraska.
Coded School Solutions is run by Alex Nissen, a software engineer with a background in data engineering and analytics. Every product started as a request from a Nebraska school. Each one is tested against that school's real workflow before it's offered to anyone else.
We stay small on purpose. When you contact us, you're talking to the person who builds and supports the software.
